Holly's Birthday
Holly's birthday was yesterday, and she is now, 19! Now, she can go on a mission! Haha, I'm kidding. Two more years and then she can go. I'm planning it all already! Actually, today I asked her what she was looking forward to about being 19 and she said nothing! I asked her if she would be excited to go away to school, and suggested she go next year in September. All she said was, "No." I think she was in a hurry and didn't want me bothering her!
She did have a nice day yesterday though, in a crazy way. We all went to church together, and then Chelsey Arnold, Holly's buddy came over for the day. We ate Erin's Tacos that I had been thinking about every moment since seeing her post. They were super delicious, and I made sure I had one with a hot, crunchy, salty, just made shell.
While I was making dinner, all of the girls fell fast asleep and slept for three hours! They crashed on the floor in my room and came stumbling out when it was dark. So, Mike and I and Jordan celebrated without them.
We ended up doing three rounds of dinner!
Holly said she didn't want a cake, so she blew out a big, pumpkin candle when we sang her Happy Birthday! Her favorite present was the Dodger's Jersey Mike got her. Did you know Holly loves baseball? She does, and she will sit and watch it, and yell, scream and dance around when they win.
It was a fun-low key-Birthday, but everyone had a good time. Everyone wanted their picture taken with Holly, and I was thinking as I watched all four of the girls together that Holly has really been an exceptional sister. She loves The Littles, and has always loved Mallory, but she has been The Funnest Big Sister to all of them. She will play dress up, tea party, Doctor, Library, Waitress and Cashier with them. She takes all of these games very seriously and plays them very professionally. She has also played countless hours of Skip-Bo and Uno.
Actually, none of us are really ready for her to go away to school just yet. The Littles would be so sad without her because she really is, "The Funnest of Them All."

Happy Birthday Little Holly! I can't believe little Baby Holly is 19 years old! Please tell her that I remember the day we found out that she was a girl and that we were all so excited for her to come! I had no idea that Holl loves baseball. Tell her to start a blog and put that up for Friday Favorites! Happy Birthday Little Holly!
Happy Birthday to little Holly. Birthdays make me sad and meloncholy. Holly was such a sweet little girl and so much fun to have as a junior buddy. I wish she could still be little and wear her plaid kindergarten skirts again. On second thought, I really like grown up Holly too. She's a bonafide Disney princess. I wish she was going on our trip with us, but I suppose she is needed at home. OH, and I'm glad you liked the tacos. Of course you liked the tacos. After all, they're tacos.
Where did Holly come from? Because we remember when the world was missing her. Then one day, she just showed up bringing with her lots of smiles, little smiles and the cutest face. She has really not changed a bit. Even her sweet name makes us happy. Bless your heart little nineteen year old. We would like to give you a big hug and tell you we love you. Grandma Babs
Holly??? 19 YEARS OLD????
Why that's impossible.
Well we all love the grown up Holly but oh how we all adored Miss La Mirada (remember Mike calling her that??). Happy Birthday Holly! We all love you and expect wonderful things from the new Miss Murrieta :).
Happy Birthday Holly! Holly really is such a sweet cheerful name-just like the girl! I'm so glad she had a very happy day. And I loved hearing all about her serious game playing. What a sweet sister.
I remember when Holly was born. It was always so exciting when Leslie had a baby. We all looked forward to the new baby and watching it grow through adorable babe hood. I'm always so happy that you lived by us Leslie when I was growing up because, being the youngest of the group, I would never have got to experience how fun it was when a new baby came.
Well Miss La Mirada, we thought you were wonderful since the beginning and we still think the same thing now. Happy Birthday!
